In April, Adrian Johnson and Tomas Prasek were a part of the third International Film Festival Summit held in Europe. The two-day event attracted a wide variety of professionals, some already familiar with the Summit, others attending for the first time. Adrian's presentation of the Eventival software raised genuine interest among several festival directors on the closing afternoon, and we hope it will grow into something more soon.
The IFFS is an event that endeavours to unite professionals from the film festival industry and other related industries (e.g. media, TV, technology) during meetings held in the US and Europe. The European Summit took place in London in 2007 and 2008. Tomas who is a member of the Advisory Committee of the IFFS Europe spoke at both London Summits - at the first one as a panellist, and the second one as a moderator.
